R., was married and living in a peripheral town in southern Israel. After suffering economic and physical abuse from her partner — who prevented her from working — she began divorce proceedings. While in the middle of her second pregnancy and caring for a two-year-old at home, she made the bold decision to join our Single Mothers Course, which trains participants to become recruitment coordinators in tech companies. After completing the course, R. went on maternity leave while actively job searching with the support of our professional team. At the end of her leave, she was thrilled to learn she had been accepted as a full-time employee at the placement company Tegbur.

A single mother of two teens, Michal ran a catering business for over a decade until COVID left her without clients or income. After being initially declined from our program for exceeding the income threshold, she made the bold decision to leave her job in order to qualify. Her determination paid off — just one month after graduating, she secured a role in high-tech and now earns 14,000 NIS/month. Vered doubled her income in six months and completely transformed her career path.

Originally from Nazareth, Fakhri began his career studying medicine abroad but realized it wasn’t the right fit. After returning to Israel, he joined itworks through the Tel Aviv Pattern Design program and retrained in Full Stack development. He completed two tech courses and secured a job at Amdocs just 15 minutes from home.

Originally from Sakhnin, Nadar joined our program while studying at Tel Aviv University and searching for a student role in software development. With strong skills in Java and Python, and a high level of motivation, he was quickly matched with a Software Engineer Student Position at Intuit. Through personalized mentoring, resume support, and interview preparation, Nadar became one of the first Arab students to join Intuit as a developer.
