2024
In 2024, Ifat Baron was selected as a Fellow in Elluminate’s elite Collective—an initiative dedicated to supporting Jewish women social entrepreneurs. Out of a competitive field of over 100 applicants, Ifat was honored for her visionary leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, using a gender lens to drive systemic change. Under her guidance, itworks has not only bridged employment gaps in Israel’s high-tech sector but also helped shape national policy by piloting inclusive models that advance gender equity in the workforce
WeWork Creator Awards Jerusalem – Innovation Award

In 2018, itworks received the Innovation Award at the prestigious WeWork Creator Awards ceremony in Jerusalem. Out of hundreds of applicants across diverse sectors—ranging from tech startups to nonprofits—our organization was distinguished for its creative, scalable approach to bridging employment divides in Israel’s high-tech industry. The award recognized itworks for combining social impact with sustainable innovation, demonstrating how targeted training and inclusive hiring practices can reshape the future of work and expand opportunities for underrepresented talent.

Bernice S. Tannenbaum Prize by the Hadassah Foundation
2012
In 2012, Ifat received the prestigious Bernice S. Tannenbaum Prize from the Hadassah Foundation. This annual award honors emerging leaders who are advancing the status of women and girls in Israel or the United States. Ifat was celebrated for “leveling the playing field in Israel’s high‑tech marketplace, particularly for women,” and for drawing on her experience driving corporate social responsibility at Cisco Systems to build itworks into a transformative social enterprise. The award underscored her commitment to dismantling systemic barriers and creating opportunities for women to thrive at every stage of their professional journey.
