Fatma Abu Assa serves as Community and Schools Program Manager for Bedouin society at itworks. Originally from Umm Batin in the Negev, she holds a B.A. in Psychology and Education from Ben-Gurion University and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Achva Academic College.

In her role, Fatma leads high-tech exposure programs in schools and communities, working closely with schools, excellence centers, local authorities, and partners. She manages teams of instructors, provides professional and pedagogical guidance, and leads programs including high-tech exposure activities, technological hackathons, and GEFEN initiatives.

Fatma chose to join itworks out of a deep commitment to advancing equal opportunities and making high-tech more accessible and relevant for young people in Bedouin society. She is passionate about helping students strengthen their confidence, explore new possibilities, and realize their full potential. She speaks Arabic and Hebrew. Outside of work, Fatma enjoys baking cookies, traveling, and staying active through sports.
